Okay, it's been a while since I've last posted. We finished touring Shanghai and then moved on to Beijing for a week, and now I'm at our dorms in BeiBei, which is near ChonQing. Here are a few random photos for you to see, but if you want to view more please look at these links, which contain my facebook albums:

Alrighty, so, on the 3rd we toured a coal power plant. The tour guides kept trying to make it sound like coal was a clean source of fuel, which was amusing.
And, in the evening we went to dinner at a very nice restaurant at one of the highest points in Hong Kong. Here's a pic of me overlooking the area.
Some buildings at night...
And the tallest building in Hong Kong by day... I got to go up to the 55th floor in it by the way. It had a few nice views.
Finally, here's one section of Hong Kong at night. There is a ridiculous amount of taxis out patrolling the area in the evening; a little bit like New York perhaps?
Anywho, I'm writing this from Shanghai, so stay tuned for pictures from a city with 14 million people (and some uber crazy cab drivers! Scariest cab ride I've ever had getting from the Airport to our hotel). Also, if you wish to see more pictures, please go to this link to see my Facebook Hong Kong album:

Today so far we have visited a Buddhist temple...

Taken a tram ride up to a high point of Hong Kong... Oh, and say hello to Dr. Labrie, our Professor in charge!
Enjoyed some nice sights...
And... felt protected by the local authorities?
It's been a fun day, and we've done a lot. Tonight we will most likely be checking out a night club, or possibly visiting an open air market, and tomorrow we visit Macao, which is located about an hour away from our current location. Apparently casinos are forbidden in Hong Kong, but in Macao there are about 25... go figure!
